This splendid Imari porcelain, Imari kobachi in Japanese, dates to the early Meiji period (1860's-1880's), in good condition. Imari porcelains are also known as Arita ware. Beautiful motifs with cobalt blue underglaze and red and gold overglaze. Ideal for a display of curios.
