Product Description

This lovely Agano ware furokama or brazier for Japanese tea ceremony is from the Early Showa period (1920s-1940's), in good condition. Used for heating the water to make tea. This piece is decorated with lively raccoon look like design on the body. Stands 12 inches tall, 20 inches in width, and 17 inches in depth. This item is great for tea ceremony to entertain your guests or practice at home. Works fine as a display object as well.
