Product Description

This Japanese cast-iron tea kettle, called chagama, for the tea ceremony is from the Late Showa period (1940's-present). Ring handles, fine bronze lid. Traditionally chagama sits atop the furo or brazier for warming.  In good condition, comes with its own wooden storage box. This item will make a great addition to your tea ceremony collections.
