This Imari porcelain vase is from the Middle Meiji period (1880's-1890's) with underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze red and gold colors.  There is intricate details in the floral and scenery designs.  In Japanese, these porcelains are also known as Arita-yaki.  Imari is an elegant and lavish vase that makes a grand statement in your home that will be sure to impress your guests.
