Product Description

This unique ko dansu (small chest) dates from the Early Showa period (1920s-1940's).  The wood used in this dansu is Sugi (Cedar).  Cedar is a versatile wood and is used for many dansus since it is easy to work with.  This elegant and simple dansu is unique because of its various wood color combinations and design.  The sliding doors and drawers allow for storage of items.  This is a beautiful addition to your home that can be used in the hallway, as a side table, or for displaying books and small items.
