Incredible and rare ninja covert mail armor within a cotton jacket.  Steel plate segments are linked together in a flexible armor that was then sewed into a lightly padded cotton jacket or the type that would draw no suspicion to it.  This piece was designed to fend off assignation of ninja by other hired ninja, and was specifically engineered to save a life from yoroi toshi daggers.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoroi_t%C5%8Dshi   In amazing condition, considering it is at least 140 years old, the cotton of the jacket is intact, with some fading of the indigo.  This proves the armor was worn, and may very well have saved the life it was designed to protect.
