Product Description

Beautiful cherry wood chabitsu lidded tea cup holder.  Meant to slip handily under the table and be every ready to serve guests, this stunning examples features quarter-sawn solid cherry wood in different grains.  The inlayed design on top shows a calm waterscape with growing stalks of fuki, a favorite springtime treat, mainly eaten with bamboo shoots. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuki.  In excellent condition, this piece is unsigned.
