Product Description

This Japanese antique Mizuya Tansu is from Gifu prifecture,  Dated Late Meiji period (1890's-1910's). The elegant color tones of this tansu come from the­ ­­ Keyaki (Zelkova) woods. And all original colore. Mizuya Tansu was most likely used in the kitchen of a Japanese household for the storage of plates, utensils and food items. Since this chest has many types of drawers and cabinets, it is very useful for today’s modern kitchen to store dishes and utensils.
