Product Description

This Sorui Dana, or File Cabinet, is from the Late Showa period (1940's-present). This unique piece is made completely of Sugi (Cedar) since cedar wood is lightweight, durable, and does not bend or crack easily. Therefore, it is a wonderful wood to use for this File Cabinet since it is not only a reliable wood, but it also has a lovely grain and tone to it. As one can see in the images, each slot is designed to hold 11x8.5 sheets of paper. Because of its narrow stature, this tansu would go great in your office, or an any place of your house where you might need to organize some papers! Would work great to hold your children's homework or artwork as well!
