Product Description

This lovely Ko Tansu is from the Late Meiji period (1890's-1910's). The woods used in this tansu are Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cedar). In a small hallway, this Japanese chest can add interest and storage without taking up any needed room.  The design is very unique with elaborate metal work seen in the drawer pulls and circular accents. The compact size and combination of drawers and sliding doors makes this piece a great addition for a desk, living room, or any place that needs a small piece to add interest and store your various accessories!
