Product Description

This is a vintage Japanese large Mino Kame, turtles made of bronze from mid.1900's.

Mino kame means turtle with straw coat which is algae. Algae grew because turtle lived for a long time so it has auspicious meaning, longevity. It has 2 dots on top so it may originally have some objects attached on top.

It measures that W 33.5, D 54, H 27.25 cm (W 13.18 D 21.25, H 10.72 inches)
