This is an authentic modern Japanese Chaire, Macha tea caddy with Shifuku sack. Macha for green tea is stored in this container and used during tea ceremony. This is from Oribe pottery made by Shigeru.

Oribe pottery is a type of Japanese pottery most identifiable for its use of green copper glaze and bold painted design. It was the first use of colored stoneware glaze by Japanese potters. It comes in an original signed wooden box.
