Product Description

This is an authentic Japanese woodblock print by Junichiro Sekine (1914-1988) from 1966.

This print is called Tokaido Goju Santsugi, Futagawa, Tsukitenshin, Futagwa from The Fifty-Three stations of the Tokaido. He created his own 55 stations and this is 34th series, Futagawa. Tsukitenshin means full moon in the middle of sky.

Junichiro Sekine was born in Aomori prefecture in 1914. He received many awards, was taught by Shiko Munakata. He traveled in Japan and made many woodblock prints, lithograph of sceneries and people over 60 years. 

It comes in a wooden frame. There is small patina on the frame but print is in a good condition.

It measures that W 63, D 2.5, H 48 cm (W 24.675, D 1, H 18.75 inches)
