Product Description

This is an antique Japanese wooden lacquered food container called Hokkai/ Kai Oke.Octagonal shaped container comes with a cover and sets into a shallow support.

The family crest is Tachibana, citrus orange surround by Japanese pine needles. Tachibana grew in Japan for a long time ago and Tachi means sword so Busho samurai prefers Tachibana design.

It has fine makie painting by hand in full details. It has slight discoloration and some coatings came off.

It measures that W 43.5 , D 40.5, H 55.5 cm (W 17.13, D 15.95, H 21.85 inches)
