Product Description

This is an antique incredible Japanese Shishi figurine made of solid Keyaki wood from temple.

Shishi is  translated as "lion” but it can also refer to a deer or dog with magical properties and the power to repel evil spirits. Shishi has amazing Keyaki grains which look as if they were real. 

There are some patina and some ends are chipped. 

It measures that W 52.7, D 22.86, H 34.92 cm (W 20.75, D 9, H 13.75 inches)
