Product Description

This is a vintage Japanese Okimono of Koi, a pair of carps probably made of tin.

Okimono means a miniature figure in Japanese and carps are known for auspicious motif. Because it is a pair of Koi called Sori, it has meaning of peace and prosperity in the household.

It comes with black lacquer stand which as nice Raden, mother-of-pearls.

There are stamps on the bottom, Juzan.  The stand has some scratches and there are small holes on the fin. Inside of koi are hollow.
